Contrary to popular belief, it matters where your website hosted. If you’re a Virginia business, then it’s best practice to host your website in Virginia (the closer to your customers, the better). If it’s not immediately apparent, then ask your webhost where your website is located. “Cyberspace” or “on a server” or not the answers you’re looking to hear!
